Branded Graphics

I joined WUSA immediately after it's rebranding, which meant there was a lot of discussion on what sticks with the brand artistically.
WUSA as a more modern brand, the team was open to trying new graphic styles and diversify their visuals.
My task was to design graphics that visualized WUSA's complex procedure of Advocacy, and if approved the style would be added to WUSA's permanent guidelines
The entire process took two weeks

1
RESEARCH
started the process by seeing more current graphic styles, and potential advocacy symbolism for inspiration.
2
SKETCHING
I kickstarted the actual design process by designing tinier separates for a graphic, see which ones can work cohesively to translate the intended message.
3
EDITING
After feeling like I had a strong base, I would start to break and edit the graphic in terms of color, layering, brand cohesiveness and overall functional design.
4
REVIEW
once I felt content with a graphic, I would alter it according to feedback before attempting a new style

Conclusion
While I learned about staying focused on detail while sticking to deadlines and reviews, one of the most prominent outcomes from this project was learning about accessible design.
I was given plenty of information on how to keep my design more accessible in terms of spacing, color schemes, and layouts. I hope to use this knowledge for better inclusive design in future projects.
